Privacy policy

Spirit Meter collects nothing. No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no network requests of any kind. Every word bank, every sound and every spoken phrase is produced on your own device from what ships inside the app. We never receive, store, or share any information about you or your device. The app works identically in airplane mode.

The app does not use your microphone and requests no microphone permission. When you record a session, it captures its own audio output — nothing in the room around you. Recordings and phrase logs are written to your device and never leave it. Delete them at any time from the archive.

Narration is spoken by your device’s own built-in speech engine. No text is sent anywhere to be turned into speech.

The app reads your device’s magnetometer, accelerometer and gyroscope to display live environmental readings. Those readings are shown on screen and discarded — they are never recorded or transmitted.
